22nd March 2013, RTÉ Digital; comScore data for February 2013 again confirmed that RTÉ.ie has the highest audience of any Irish website in Ireland. RTÉ.ie had 1,127,000 unique visitors which represents 43% of all Irish adults who were online in February. RTÉ.ie also has the most average daily visitors (198,000) of any Irish website.
RTÉ.ie ranks second highest with the heaviest Irish users of the internet. Delivering significant audiences amongst consumers of key genres – it is the best performing Irish site amongst consumers of online sport, and online news content.
The demographic profile of RTÉ.ie’s audience is highly attractive to advertisers with 46% aged 15-34, with an equal split of users between men and women. The RTÉ.ie website also offers a range of sections with diverse audiences allowing for effective targeting of a wide range of campaigns.
