RTÉ Digital Sales in collaboration with Meteor, McCann Blue and Vizeum unveils the Interactive Video ‘TimeSync’ Ad Format
Meteor is the first brand to run the Interactive Video ‘TimeSync’ ad format on RTÉ Player.
A winner of the IAB Digital Video Rising Stars, the ‘TimeSync’ ad format provides a series of interactive elements, presented as ‘overlays’ or ‘hotspots’ timed to the video, that enables targeted interactions with the ad – all while keeping the viewer firmly in control.
Meteor chose their range of Christmas Smartphones as interactive “hotspots”. As the video ad plays, the user is given the option to click on each phone to ‘FOR MORE INFO’.
Once clicked on the ‘Hotspot’ expands to full screen revealing more product information.
